Born in the United Kingdom, Penny moved at a young age to South Africa, later moving to Botswana with her young family.

Penny's interest in pottery began in Botswana where she made several beautiful pieces that were passed around friends and family as gifts for birthdays and christmas. Great treasures that are placed in pride of place dotted around homes all over Botswana South Africa and New Zealand

In 2002 Penny moved to Christchurch New Zealand and her passion for ceramics grew ever stronger and a two year diploma in Ceramic arts was proudly achieved.

Penny currently holds a teaching position sharing her knowledge of her passion with other passionate potters.
